“ Freaking amazing! The white curry mee is so well done, flavours all on point. Thick; flavourful and almost nothing to complain about. Also their drinks are well made and thick, so order the “932” best we have tried in Penang! Only gripe is the the lady boss is smiley outside but grumpy after we ordered food lol! ”

I was so amazed by it that I had to write a review I finally get it why it won Michelin 3 years back to back makes total sense once u have your first taste of the Curry Mee you’ll want more! “ The curry mee here resembles a spicier and more intense version of Sarawak laksa. The curry / belacan paste / white pepper base was nicely done and gave a strong kick to the soup. The duck blood was done well, silky smooth to the mouth. I had mine with their in-house sio bak, which I liked and was seasoned well enough to complement the soup. I also added kerang (cockles) to my order but sadly I felt the usual umami taste of the hum was overpowered by the spiciness of the dish. Overall, a good dish but I felt the curry mee spice did overpower all the other ingredients except the sio bak, instead of bringing out their individual flavors. This is something that a good bowl of Sarawak laksa does better. ”
“ This kopitiam, home to the famed curry laksa stall, is modest and unassuming - almost forgettable at first glance. Still, it earns points for being brightly lit and commendably clean. Car parking, however, is a near-impossible feat. Of course, the main draw is the namesake, award-winning curry laksa, served with rich duck blood that adds texture, flavour and depth. But don’t overlook the supporting acts: the crackling roast pork, tender blanched chicken, and silky congee are all local favourites in their own right. My small bowl of curry laksa was, true to its name, modest in size - but it delivered a mighty punch of flavour and heat. At first glance, it looked pale, almost lacklustre. But a quick stir of the curry paste lurking on the side awakened it into a fiery, fragrant red broth that sang with spice. The noodles were scarce - stingily so - but the toppings more than made up for it: rich, savoury duck blood and rare blood cockles that were unexpectedly delicious, each bite a bold, briny delight. ”

“ I found this a comfortable place to dine at. It had aircon that cooled down the temperature somewhat, the dining area looks clean and hygienic, tables are comfortably spaced. The food was delicious. Fortunately, for those that don't like curry mee, they do have an alternative in their porridge. Their porridge is the thick gruel version and topped with the usual yummy condiments you would expect. The unique feature is the sesame oil that they add just before serving you, giving it an additional aroma kick. It also comes hot with good consistency, so you are spared the bad clumpy cold porridge experience. Coming to the duck blood curry mee. I throughly enjoyed it. I found it a little spicy, so for my next visit, I will probably not add all the given chilli paste that comes with it. 75% should be enough. The taste is incredible. Enough lemak taste, but a tad bit salty, in general still an incredible flavour profile that made finishing the soup easy. The amount of taupok, blood cockles, prawn and the signature duck blood jelly is generous, and delicious. For those super hungry, you can add on extra ingredients (prices are clearly stated at the stall) If you come in a group (I didn't), you can always try their other dishes, poached and roasted chicken, duck, taugeh, century eggs and etc etc. In short, if you don't mind the ridiculously difficult to find parking spot and end up on this area, I fully recommend you drop by for a bite and slurp. It may be a little expensive but I think Ok for an occasional eat. ”
“ Came to this cafe often when we went for foot massage at Aroma Reflexology. This is Michelin BIB Gourmand for three consecutive years (2023, 2024 and 2025). The Signature food is duck meat curry mee. I would say, it is one of the best curry mee in Penang. The cafe also serves Chicken Rice, porridges, and BBQ Pork. The cafe is clean and with air conditioning. The cafe also serves good local drinks. ”
